My First Travel Experience In The Southern Part of Cebu
Asia/Budget Travel/Travel StoriesI always love exploring places that I’ve never visited yet. So as my sister, Aira.
Before I go to Manila for a business convention, my sister and I planned with her friends (Denise, JB, and Shiela) to go to Oslob, Cebu. One of my friends told me before that they had great experiences in traveling to this place. Since we’re on a limited budget, I only bring around P3,000 ($75) pocket money. It’ll include our gas contribution, barge fee, accommodation, food, pasalubong and other amenities.
After Valentine’s Day, we’re all set for the trip. At 2 AM in the morning, we took off from Bacolod City to Bais City. It’s a 3-hour road trip going to the Bais port. It only takes us an hour to reach the southern part of Cebu. After we successfully landed, our Love Month adventure begins.
Backpacking to Brig, Interlaken,Zurich, Geneva Switzerland, and Lake Como Italy
Budget Travel/Travel StoriesWoke up early for my 5:50 train going to Andamat to Chiaaso to Como Italy. If you have Swiss Pass, it’s only valid till Chiasso, you need extra ticket to get to Como San Giovanni.
Don’t sleep! Or you will miss such lovely sights. Everywhere you look at is simply magnificent. Beautiful nature! It’s very easy to move from one train to another platform. So dont worry if you only have few minutes to transfer to another train. The SBB trains are very punctual!
Travelling to Venice, Verona, Florence, Pisa, Milan Italy
Budget Travel/Destinations/DIY Itineraries/Travel StoriesI woke up early for my 11 am Wizz air flight to Venice Italy. No flight delays, and the weather is perfectly fine. The plane landed at exactly 12:15 pm. Since I do not carry any euros, I withdrawn money from the ATM near the exit.
I looked for bus heading to Piazza Roma, the fare cost 12€ one way. If you need RT you can get it for 22€. Piazza Roma is the last stop. Bus ATVO. The bus driver also gave me a free map. As soon as I sat, I started mapping out the places I would like to visit.
4 Days, 3 Nights Rome, Italy DIY Itinerary
DIY Itineraries/Travel Stories/Travel TipsThe easiest way to get around Rome is by walking. Everything is worth seeing, each tourist location is within reach. Just beware of pickpockets especially in the metro and bus. Avoid bus 64 as much as possible. If you are planning to visit Colloseum, beware of those men dress in Gladiator. They will say picture taking is free, but after taking picture, they will ask for 10 Euro! Here is the itinerary I prepared for my visit. However, I failed to follow it, because when I get there, I just keep on walking. It’s fun to walk because there so many people walking by. Trevi fountain is under construction but it’s still worth visiting. Italian men are charming indeed 🙂 Accommodation: Walter Rooms Guest House Via Carlo Alberto 24, Central Station, 00185 Rome, Italy How to get to guest house from the Airport Take FM1 Link, get off at Ostiense Station (LINE B), take metro toward Termini, and transfer to LINE A, get off at Vitorio. Hello. It has always been my dream to visit Vienna Austria, the land of music. Ever heard of the great Mozart? It’s him! He was born and raised here in Vienna. Since I am currently based in Prague, I simply booked a bus ticket from Prague to Vienna, since I’m <26, and a holder of ISIC card, I got a 15% discount. I pay 31.5Euro for my RT bus transfer at student agency. I booked a hostel reservation to A&H Hostel at Reunmanplatz for 3 nights – 41Euro. Just few blocks away from the metro, or a block to bus station. I also downloaded a Tripadvisory Vienna App to My phone, so I will have ideas where to go. Make sure you got the updated metro map of Vienna! I purchased the 72 hours metro ticket, take note, you can also use this to take tram and buses. Just buy your ticket on the ticket machine and don’t forget to validate it!!! My favorite place in Vienna is the Schoburnn Palace and Garden. Go there, so you’ll know why! My second would be the Belvedere Palace and the Hofburg Palace. Since Vienna is known for classical music, you must not […]
