Day 1
July 20 – Venice, Italy
I woke up early for my 11 am Wizz air flight to Venice Italy. No flight delays, and the weather is perfectly fine. The plane landed at exactly 12:15 pm. Since I do not carry any euros, I withdrawn money from the ATM near the exit. I looked for bus heading to Piazza Roma, the fare cost 12€ one way. If you need RT you can get it for 22€. Piazza Roma is the last stop. Bus ATVO. The bus driver also gave me a free map. As soon as I sat, I started mapping out the places I would like to visit.
I get off at Piazza Roma and searched for my accommodation – Ostello Domus Civica, using the map, usual I got lost! It’s okay, getting lost is part of travelling, you get to discover different places.
I found it after 30 minutes of walking around. I don’t like my room.
I rest for a while then after an hour, I went on to discover other places. My first destination was the Realto Bridge, unfortunately, it’s currently under construction. I didn’t bother taking any boat ride, i’m alone anyway, it’s no fun. I’m not in the hopeless romantic mood.
I went to visit the Piazza de Marco and Saint Marks Basilica, it’s a lovely place. I do love the restaurants with musicians playing! it’s very relaxing. I noticed that there are so many ice cream and pizza shops too. You will never be hungry!
Just walk straight and you will see another island. It’s the Isola Di San Maggiore. To your right, is the Campo Salute. I just walked around the Grand Canal, you will also see the building where the movie James Bond was filmed!!!
The remaining hours, i just let myself get #lostinvenice. Lovely day indeed.
Day 2
July 21 Verona
It’s Verona! Yes, this is where our favorite Romeo and Juliet love story began!
I booked my bus in Flixbus for €18 RT. Just a day trip.
Since I am not familiar with Venice Tronchetto, i decided to go early. Well, i wasn’t expecting its not that far. I didn’t even get lost. I’m 2 hours earlier!😄
The weather is fine today. Not so hot, neither cold.
Here’s the view

That’s the bus station for flixbus and any other buses.
There’s no free wifi!
The bus arrived exactly 1:10PM. It’s so easy to get around Verona. Just cross the road from Porta Nuova, walk for 1.2km and every tourist spot is at your fingertips.
I went straight to Verona Di Arena and then Juliet’s House with all other destinations. It’s a very crowded place. Go to Ponte Scaligero, you will love it. It’s breathtakingly beautiful.

A day trip to Verona is enough. I’m now heading back to Venezia.
Day 3
July 22 – Florence
Packed up early to catch my 8:40 megabus trip to Firenze aka Florence. it’s gonna be an almost 4 hour bus ride. My expected arrival is at 12:35. I purchased my bus ticket for 7€.
I arrived at the firenze train station at 12:35, bought my city bus ticket at the shop inside the train station for 1.20€, if you buy ticket at the bus driver, youll pay €2 so its best to buy it beforehand.
I booked my accommodation in Hostel 7 Santi, it’s perfectly situated. Across is the bus stop!
There’s always buffet breakfast for 5€ and dinner for 7€.
I spent my afternoon resting. After my dinner, i took the bus going to city center. I want to see the sunset in Piazza Michaelangelo. Here’s the breath taking view at the moment. 8:28pm

Lovely isn’t it? So many people are with me right now. This place is the best if you want to see the city!
Day 4
July 23 Pisa
I booked my RT bus in Terravision, no bus shows up. I waited for 20 mins, i was there as early as 40mins before departure. Do not book in this bus company. They are the worst. I purchased ticket before in Rome Italy, the bus was delayed with no specific time of arrival. I had to catch my flight so i opted for train. This company never refunded me. So most likely I will not get refund for this trip. It’s a lesson for me, never book in Terravision.
I booked a train ticket in Trentalia for 8.5€, it takes 1 hour to reach Pisa Centrale.
Getting around Pisa is really easy. I went to Leaning Tower of Pisa by foot. Took me 15 mins to get there.
i passed by the river side, it’s simply beautiful. The cathedral and Pisa tower is located in one place. It’s an amazing architecture indeed! The place is very crowded with people trying to get a good shot! Depends on what else you want to see, I spent no less than 2 hours in Pisa and its more than enough for me.
I took the train to go back. i walked around the city.
Day 5
July 24 Milan
I took flixbus 10:10 bound to Milan, the travel takes 3:30 hours. Not bad.
As soon as I arrived in Milan bus station, i bought an urban ticket cost 1.5€ to Doumo. As I exit the metro, the stunning Milan Cathedral took my breath away! It’s so beautiful.

there are also many doves around which you can feed and take pictures. Beware of some men who will approach you and give you food for the doves, he will insists it is for free but as soon as the doves finish eating it all, he will ask you to pay!!! What a scammer, he asked me as much as I could give, even told me 10, 20 or more euros! i was so pissed so, showed him all coins i have and he wanted me to give it all to him. Told him it’s for my metro ticket and i have no money! Gave him 2€, that’s more than a lot!
I walked around the square and went straight to Milan Centrale by foot. My train departs at 5:23PM to Domodossola. From Domodosolla, ill take bus to Brig, Switzerland.
Alas, I’m in Brig!!! Its so beautiful here! Take a look at my picture!
Continuation: Backpacking in Brig, Interlaken,Zurich, Geneva Switzerland, and Lake Como Italy
