In order for Filipino to travel in Japan, you will need to acquire a tourist visa. Here are the requirements for obtaining Japan Tourist Visa with NO GUARANTOR
1. Valid Passport
2. Birth Certificate ( Original NSO, obtained present year only, taken from previous year will not be accepted)
a. If you are Married, please provide a marriage certificate
b. If you are born before 1949, no need for birth certificate
3. ITR
4. Daily Schedule in Japan (Itinerary)
5. Duly accomplished Application Form
6. COE ( Not Necessary)
7. Bank Certificate ( Amount usually depends on your Itinerary; Think about it, how much do you think you will need when you’re in Japan, be more realistic)
8. Photo (2×2) White Background
There’s no need to buy the plane ticket ahead of your application.
As far as I know, Japan Embassy in Manila is no longer accepting walk-in applicants; therefore, you need to opt for services from one of the accepted travel agencies.

In my case, I availed Reli Tours and Travel Agency which cost P1200, process usually takes 7 to 10 days more. They will inform you when your visa has been processed and when it is available for pick up in their office.
Take note: There is no fee for this type of visa; you only have to pay P1200 for the processing fee of the agency.
